Main duties of the job
The Activities Coordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing a varied activity program that caters to the diverse interests and abilities of the residents. This includes organizing both individual and group activities, both on-site and off-site, to promote socialisation, maintain existing hobbies, and encourage residents to try new experiences. The role also involves collaborating with the wider care team, relatives, and the local community to maximise engagement and support. The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, a caring and compassionate nature, and the ability to work flexibly and creatively.
