Main duties of the job
As the Activities Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive activity program that caters to the individual preferences and needs of the residents. This includes organizing and facilitating a wide range of activities, such as arts and crafts, music, games, outings, and community events. You will collaborate closely with the Home Manager and the wider care team to ensure a holistic and personalized approach to activity planning. By encouraging resident participation and involving family members, you will foster a sense of community and belonging within the home. Additionally, you will assist with fundraising initiatives and budgeting to support the resident activity program.
