Main duties of the job

As a Care Home Assistant Practitioner (CHAPS), you will play a fundamental role in the united and extended care team, assisting with the day-to-day nursing needs of the residents. You will collaborate with the fully trained nurses to support and aid in the delivery of personalized, individualized care, allowing the nurses to focus on more complex medical requirements. Your responsibilities will include a wide range of duties that support the highest quality of personalized medical and clinical care, while also helping and cooperating with colleagues, family members, and external professionals to maintain the identity and dignity of the residents.

As one of our Care Home Assistant Practitioners (CHAPs) you will collaboratively work alongside our fully trained Nurses to support and assist with the day to day nursing needs of our residents, thus allowing our Nurses the time and resource to tend to the needs of the more complex nursing requirements of some of our residents.
