Job summary
Akari Care is a trusted provider of personalised nursing and residential care within local communities across England and Wales. They are looking for experienced Senior Care Assistants or Care Assistants who are looking to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the highest quality of care to the residents, observing and reviewing care plans, assisting with social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior and new colleagues.
Main duties of the job
As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality levels of care to the residents. This includes observing, reviewing, and finalizing care planning needs, assisting and coming up with ideas for social activities, and supporting the training and supervision of junior and new colleagues in an Akari value-driven way. The ideal candidate will have a caring nature, good communication and relationship-building skills, and be flexible and adaptable to changes. They should also have a warm, approachable, and engaging persona, and respect everyone, treating others as they would expect to be treated.
