Job summary

This is a senior care assistant role in a care home setting, working nights to provide the highest quality of care to residents. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering personalized care, observing and reviewing care plans, and supporting the training and supervision of junior staff.

Main duties of the job

The senior care assistant will work alongside the care team to deliver excellent care to residents, including assisting with daily tasks, social activities, and supporting the training of new staff. They will have strong communication and relationship-building skills, and a caring and approachable nature.

Working alongside the care assistants, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality levels of care to our residents. This includesobserving, reviewing, and finalising care planning needs, assisting, and coming up with ideas for social activities and supporting the training and supervision of junior and new colleagues in an Akari value driven way.
