Akari Care is seeking a passionate and experienced Deputy Manager who is committed to providing personalized, high-quality care for the elderly residents in their award-winning homes. This diverse role involves ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the care home, supporting the Home Manager, and overseeing all aspects of nursing and residential care, from budgetary and financial controls to human resources management.
Main duties of the job
The Deputy Manager will be responsible for collaborating with the Home Manager and multi-disciplinary teams to maintain excellent nursing and residential care, effective communication, and financial controls. They will also be accountable for HR-related tasks, promoting engaging marketing initiatives, and guiding and coaching colleagues on training and development. The successful candidate will demonstrate a caring nature, flexibility, resilience, and the ability to work well under pressure while upholding the organization's values of personalized excellence, community spirit, and compassion.
