Job Summary
The post holder will be able to demonstrate significant experience in operational management and emergency planning, strategic leadership or operational leadership roles and be familiar with how NHS organisations work. A strong track record of operational management and improvements, development and strategy of resilience planning is fundamental to this role.
Core Purpose:
Head of Operations and EPRR will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the high-quality delivery of all services and robust resilience planning. This role is crucial for promoting and fostering efficient and effective operational delivery throughout NEMS. The job holder will assist the Director of Operations in supporting the Executive Management Team and will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of Operational delivery. Additionally, the Manager will support the Directors in establishing and implementing Operational and tactical improvements and resilience planning by reviewing policies, plans and objectives. The job holder will also have line management responsibilities for the Operations team.
