Job summary
The
NEMS Data & Performance Lead will provide expert guidance on data analysis,
data modelling, and reporting. Supporting our strategic direction to be a data
rich organisation, allowing data and information to drive our business
decisions.
The
postholder will be an expert in data, analysis & intelligence, and will provide
guidance and support to NEMS Senior Leaders and Operational Managers to enable
effective service planning and Improvement. Working with teams across the
organisation, commissioners, and system partners to ensure compliance while
providing evidence-based insights into the services we deliver will be a core
part of the role.
The
Data & Performance Lead will take responsibility for ensuring our contract
KPIs are reported on, providing assurance to our commissioners through formal
monthly reports and ad-hoc requests on performance, quality, and capacity. This
will involve creating and maintaining dashboards and performance reports for
internal and external consumption.
This
post includes managing and leading a small data team. Working closely with the
team to understand, document, automate, and streamline business processes using
data-driven insights, with a focus on improving patient outcomes and ensuring
compliance with NHS regulations.
Main duties of the job
Data

and implement improvement measures and reporting mechanisms to capture and
analyse data and support organisational decision-making.
Produce
routine and ad-hoc performance reports for internal and external stakeholders to
support contract and KPI compliance.
Support
colleagues and project teams in the provision of collecting, reporting, and analysing
data.
Undertake
benchmarking activities to compare organisational performance with NHS
standards and/or other community benefit organisations to identify areas for
improvement and best practices.

Oversee
data quality checks on source data on a routine basis and ensure data quality
issues are resolved and process/reporting improvements are made.
Support
the Governance team in achieving compliance with Quality Audit reports.
Collaboration
and Management
Line
management and leadership of the NEMS Data Team.

Communicate

to Kings Mill Hospital ED, Mansfield.
