Job summary

Here at NEMS we have an exciting opportunity for an administrator to join the Rota Team!

The successful candidate will support the NEMS management team in the delivery of the GP and nurse rota.

This role is 12-16 hours per week (Mondays and Thursdays).

Main duties of the job

  • Filling vacant shifts on the GP and the Nurse rota
  • Manage GP rates and support GP pay process
  • Be the named point of contact for all GP queries
  • Attend ad-hoc PLT events to support local GP engagement
  • Dealing with GP communications
  • Support NEMS management team with all rota duties
  • Provide administrative support where required

  • Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent standard, including English at Grade C or above
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team as required by the role
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate with staff at all levels
  • Ability to manage own time and workload
  • Ability to demonstrate professionalism at all times
  • Working effectively with healthcare professionals and external agencies
  • Previous general administrative and office work
  • Experience in maintaining information systems
  • Understanding of confidentiality and Data Protection principles

  • Knowledge of Excel
