Job summary

Boathouse Physiotherapy has an exciting opportunity for a MSK physiotherapist. We are a busy private business within a GP practice in a beautiful setting in Pangbourne, Reading. We have a NHS contract so we see Private and NHS patients. This role is a part time position, Monday and Fridays and another session if required.

This position would suit both a newly qualified physio or someone more experienced in MSK who is wanting to maintain/progress their rehabilitation techniques. There is regular support, CPD from physios, consultants and GPs. We have a diagnostic ultrasound to help with our assessments and review our rehabilitation.

The applicant needs to work well within the team, have great communication and time management skills. Good assessment skills and ideas on MSK rehabilitation required.

Main duties of the job

Assessing and treating MSK patients, both Private and NHS. Patients range from acute injuries to chronic issues, there is a vast array of conditions seen. Developing and monitoring patients rehabilitation to the point of discharge. Hands on treatment will be required.

Need to be able to rule out red flags. We work closely with the GPs and consultants for support with our patients if required.

Acupuncture preferable.

Hours would be Monday and Friday all day and another session if required. Great admin support for diary organisation.

Pay would be depending on experience at a competitive rate.

Boathouse Physiotherapy has been running in the Boathouse Surgery for 9 years now. We have a great team of Physiotherapist as well as masseurs, sports therapist and admin support. We have an excellent reputation with our clients, GPs and consultants.

We have our own department with gym equipment overlooking the river in Pangbourne.

We really support each other and help where we can both professionally and personally.

For employed staff we have pension and paid annual leave etc. Would consider self employed.
