We are looking for 2 full-time Teleradiology Administrators to be based at our premises in Peckham, London.

Main duties of the job

To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of administrative duties which include allocation of studies to radiologists, ensuring all information is managed correctly, logging of activities and followed up accordingly. To act as the focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information, messages and enquiries for the radiologist team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members, other health professionals and staff.

Job responsibilities

Main Duties and Responsibilities

a) Allocate studies in line with clients service level agreement

b) Allocate studies inline with radiologists skill mix and availability

c) Logging of studies onto client activity log via Excel

d) Deal with administrative queries and requests from patients and act as liaison with the clinicians as necessary

e) Respond to all client emails and calls (via softphone/email)

f) Provide those who contact DMC Imaging with excellent customer service, ensuring that all telephone callers are greeted promptly, professionally and politely

g) Working within a team to ensure smooth transition of work

h) Support and assist clinicians as required

i) Action tasks set by clinicians via the clinical systems and email

j) To handle enquiries courteously and efficiently and with an awareness of the needs of the customer

k) PACS Support (liaison between Clients + PACS)

l) Logging technical issues with PACS

m) Maintaining accurate logs of KPI and Audit data

n) Ensure reports are in line with TAT

o) Follow set client process for alerting urgent findings

p) Prioritise urgent and out of hours reports

q) Strong communication with clinicians and colleagues

r) Monitoring of mailbox and being first point of contact for all enquiries and communications received

s) Answer phone calls (most likely rota basis)

t) Support on audits as needed

u) Attendance to meetings and education sessions as required by the business

Data Duties

a) Interrogate data for audit purposes.

b) To provide and maintain information required for public health targets. This will include data checking and liaising with the clinical team to improve performance.

c) Take part in practice performance. This will include maintaining an up-to-date register and working on improvement.

General Duties

a) Leave desk tidy at the end of each day.

b) Ensure confidentiality at all times, only releasing confidential information obtained during the course of employment to those acting in an official capacity with the agreement of the Operations Manager.

c) Comply and familiarise yourself with the departments policies and procedures.

d) Carry out any other duties as reasonably requested Head of Operations, Operations Manager or Company director
