Main duties of the job
As DMC's Business Development
Coordinator, you'll be a key team player driving our business development
endeavours, working hand-in-glove with the Business Development Manager. From
scouting new bid opportunities that align with DMCs forward-thinking strategy
to ensuring our clients have the latest and most relevant information about us,
your role will be crucial to our growth trajectory. While not involved in
direct lead generation or negotiations, the individual plays a pivotal role in
the background, ensuring that business development processes are streamlined
and supportive.

Business Development Support (80%):
Opportunity Identification: Take charge by scouring various platforms and
inboxes daily, spotting the golden opportunities for DMC to potentially bid
for.
CRM and Lead Management: working hand-in-hand with the Business Development
Manager, keep a close eye on the CRM and lead trackers, ensuring every detail
is up to date. Collaborate closely with the Senior team and Business
Development Manager, ensuring every lead is tracked meticulously from the initial
enquiry right through to mobilisation.
Engagement: Regularly scan key frameworks for bid opportunities that suit DMCs
ambitions. Engage with these frameworks ensuring they're always updated about
DMC's offerings and understand our unique value positioning against
competitors.
Bid Writing and Coordination: Lend crucial support in bid writing by suggesting
apt responses, leveraging insights from past bids, and ensuring every proposal
is not just accurate but also compelling and in line with the evaluation
criteria. Work in tandem with the bid team, coordinating responses and
guaranteeing we hit every tender deadline.
Client Relations and Communication: Keep every detail updated with clients and
frameworks, and foster a vibrant, open channel of dialogue. Seamlessly manage
the commercial inbox, addressing incoming opportunities and queries with
precision and ensuring every response is timely and hits the mark.
Efficient Coordination: Act as the focal point for the seamless coordination of all business
development activities, including communications and deadlines. Make sure no
effort is overlooked in our quest of quality, with a focus on efficiency.
Progress Analysis & Reporting: Collaborate closely with the BD Manager to strategise
growth plans, and to diligently track, analyse, and report on the impact of BD
initiatives. Craft insightful reports to share with key stakeholders, offering
a clear view of the current landscape and highlight the path ahead.
Paralegal Support (20%):
Review client contracts to ensure alignment with NHS standards and DMC's
requirements. Edit them in collaboration with the Head of Operations and COO,
prepping them for signing.
Assist with the annual contract variations, taking charge of the legal
documentation associated with each contract, ensuring they remain updated,
signed, and valid.
Review supplier contracts, ensuring they align with DMC's expectations.
Make necessary revisions in consultation with the COO.
Provide essential support in due diligence, contract reviews, and
governance-related tasks.

Desirable
