Job summary
This is an exciting opportunity to provide the administrative support required for the smooth and effective operation of South Tandridge Primary Care Network, comprising Practices in Oxted, Lingfield and Godstone. This is a part time role for 22.5 hours per week across 3 days.
The member Practices of South Tandridge Primary Care Network look after the healthcare needs of patients in our catchment area covering Limpsfield, Tandridge, Bletchingley and Lingfield.
You will be working closely with senior clinicians to ensure the direction and purpose of the PCN is achieved through innovative and collaborative working to promote excellent patient care. This role combines administrative work with direct project support for various initiatives being implemented to ensure the continued effectiveness of primary care provision. The successful candidate will work closely with our care coordinator team and will benefit from peer learning and support offered by DHCs other PCN administrators. They will be responsible for the collation and reporting of key performance data for the ICB requiring experience of accurate record keeping and the maintenance of database information.
They should have a natural and engaging style and be adaptable to working in different teams as well as individually. Attending meetings, preparing activity reports, and presenting progress to key stakeholders in the PCN are important deliverables.
Main duties of the job
- to provide administrative support for Board Governance and Locality meetings
- Initiate and deliver projects agreed across the three PCN practices
- monitor, update and report from the Ardens Manager dashboard
- support the Practices to organise and manage joint Protected Learning Time events
- liaise with Practice Managers to support the creation of the PCN Patient Participation Group
- maintain and update software platforms used by the PCN & Practices
- develop training options for clinical and administrative staff in the practices
- improve governance in the practices and PCN through developing knowledge of regulatory requirements and healthcare standards
- assist with organising COVID vaccination clinics, inviting patients and supporting the care coordinator team
- ensure the GP Federation and PCN support practices to deliver services efficiently, reducing the burden on practices and promoting collaborative working
