Job summary

Fixed-term GP Post 1-2 sessions

For a newly-qualified GP until March 2026

Salary: £11,000 per session,per annum pro rata.

Hackney Downs PCN is looking for a newly-qualified GP.

The ARRS funding has created an opportunity for a GP who has qualified within the last 2 years to gain some experience working in our supportive and very friendly PCN practices in Clapton in Hackney.

Main duties of the job

We are a very highly performing and highly collaborative PCN.We would ensure a newly qualified GP has a full induction, mentoring with a senior GP, well-being blocks in their list, as well as pro-rata protected CPD and admin time weekly.

About us

Groups of GP Practices in City and Hackney have recently come together to form 8 Primary Care Networks (PCNS) each covering a total population of between 30,000-56,000. The purpose of these PCNs is to enable GP practices to work together in a collaborative way to develop and deliver network-based services that respond to the needs of the local population.

Job responsibilities

We are looking for up to 1-2 sessions per week for a GP. If you are working across more than one site you will have a main host practice and a named GP at each spoke site for advice and support.

In view of this being a fixed-term contract, we would offer a highly competitive salary.

There is no set interview date, as the post would be available to start within a few weeks and the advert will close when a candidate is found.
