We are looking for a Lead Nurseto join The Avenue Surgery team, to provide a specialist resource for patients within our practice in collaboration with other members of the multidisciplinary team.

Main duties of the job

Job responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in and performing routine tasks related to patient care as indicated by patient need

Act as a clinical leader in the delivery of practice nursing services to patients, ensuring that the needs of the patient are the priority

Lead the nursing team in the planning and implementation of local guidelines, protocols and standards, and of local projects or initiatives
