About the role

We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Physiotherapist Assistant to support our physiotherapy team in delivering high-quality rehabilitation and exercise-based care.

You will work under the supervision of qualified Physiotherapists, supporting treatment programmes, assisting patients with exercises and functional activities, and helping maintain a safe and welcoming clinical environment.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience within physiotherapy and rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Support Physiotherapists in delivering delegated treatment programmes

• Assist patients with exercises, mobility, and functional rehabilitation activities

• Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment

• Observe, report, and feedback patient progress or concerns to supervising clinicians

• Maintain accurate documentation as required

• Uphold infection control, health & safety, and safeguarding standards

Desirable:

• Previous experience in a healthcare, fitness, or rehabilitation setting

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent experience
