Job summary

We are looking to recruit an outstanding newly-qualified Physiotherapist to join the Level Health Training Academy. The role is a static MSK Physiotherapy position which will provide an invaluable insight into a broad range of both peripheral and spinal problems. You will work alongside a large and established team of Senior and Junior Physiotherapists in our vibrant, innovative and dynamic organisation. We have the capacity to create a flexible package to accommodate different working needs. Level health operates a mandatory 2 year Academy Programme for all newly-qualified Junior staff. To ensure that learning and professional development is consistent, we run weekly clinical supervision/mentoring sessions and monthly in-service training meetings with the whole team, providing a well-rounded, robust, supportive and patient-centred teaching programme. In addition, we provide an annual training budget for the further specialist development of our staff.

Main duties of the job

Level Health is looking for outstanding Physiotherapists with excellent communication skills. You will be working with patients, GPs and practice staff, as well as the Level Health team, so it is critical that you are a confident and strong communicator with demonstrated IT, organisational and time management skills. We deliver the highest standards of holistic health care and it is crucial that candidates applying for the role share our cultural values and approach in their own management and practice. This exciting role is located within GP surgeries in East Kent. The vacancy is focused around Primary care at a range of spacious, modern and well-resourced locations. We work as part of a multi-disciplinary team that includes Doctors, Nurse Practitioners, Psychologists, Paramedics, Allied Health workers and a large network of Administrators.

Level Health uses state-of-the-art technology to deliver its services, including the EMIS medical record system, online CPD sessions and the delivery of virtual exercise programmes. We are enthusiastic about CPD and cover a wide range of topics to provide a multi-specialty and holistic approach to learning.

We have a passion for mentorship and we pay close attention to the mentor/mentee relationship. Our clinicians are trained to teach GP trainees on nationally accredited GP training programmes and we take an active role in training undergraduate physiotherapists. Our unrelenting drive for innovation means that we form part of the Regional Spinal Network, Health Innovation Network and a variety of University Research Programmes.

We work closely with Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Brighton to support Physiotherapy students and their development, providing 6-week clinical placements throughout the year. Over the past year, we have worked with injured veteran athletes at the prestigious golf event, The Simpson Cup, and have been active with a large-scale charity expedition to Mount Everest.
