Location covering CGL Worksop and Newark Hub, CGL Mansfield Hub, and CGL County South Hub (Hucknall and other Nottingham city bases)
Based from a local delivery hub Main Base Thursday and Friday: CGL Worksop Hub & CGL Mansfield (based at Mansfield Probation). Working base Monday to Wednesday: flexible/tbc (including scope for some home based/off-site working).

Main duties of the job
The Change Grow Live Nottinghamshire Psychology Team has successfully led the development and implementation of a specialist ADHD diagnostic assessment pathway for adult substance misuse service users within the Criminal Justice System. The ADHD Assessment Pathway is a psychotherapeutic assessment service which has been designed to meet the needs of service users with complex needs. The role will support the development, implementation, and evaluation of the ADHD Assessment Pathway under the supervision of the Qualified Psychologist across the CGL Nottinghamshire localities.
You will work to promote trauma informed practice within the team and wider service through consultation, case management, training, reflective practice, and research. Under the supervision of a Qualified Psychologist, you will offer a range of evidence-based assessments relevant to address the degree of complexity experienced within this population of people.
Our model emphasises physical, psychological, and emotional safety and helps people to rebuild a sense of control and empowerment in their lives and in their communities. You will provide low level brief psychological interventions, primarily in groups, but also on an individual basis; input into service development initiatives; and assist our psychologists, who will provide regular supervision.

To carry out protocol based psychological assessment using appropriate psychometric measures, direct and indirect observation, semi-structured interviews under the supervision of a qualified Clinical Psychologist.
To assist in the formulation and delivery of person-centred care involving the psychological treatment and/or management of complex problems as required.
To support the delivery of psychological interventions with due regard to issues of cultural, racial, and religious difference and sexual orientation.
To utilise theory, literature, and research to support evidence-based practice in individual work and work with other members of the wider team.
Teaching, Training and Supervision
Complete and stay up to date with all statutory and mandatory training.
Receive regular clinical supervision from a qualified psychologist in accordance with
professional practice guidelines.
To develop teaching skills and competencies that assist in the delivery of services.
To contribute to training and support programmes and initiatives for other staff within the team.
Research
Use specialist knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods to initiate
and support research and audit activities that will evaluate and promote the
development of services for different needs groups in our community i.e. rough
sleepers, veterans, women.
Leadership
To gain wider experience of professional psychology within the Psychology Directorate.
To maintain the highest of standards of clinical governance, ethical practice and data protection.
