Job summary
To work as an autonomous practitioner in providing physiotherapy assessments, treatments, and goal setting to CIPHER Medicals patients.
To maintain up to date physiotherapy records in line with professional standards.
To use evidence-based practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
To provide education and training to patients, carers, and relatives as required.

Main duties of the job
- Provide physiotherapy input to patients with a variety of musculoskeletal, neurological, and other complex conditions.
- Provide physiotherapy assessment, advice, and treatment to CIPHER Medical's people.
- Provide physiotherapy input into management of patients with highly complex needs.
- Monitor, evaluate and modify treatment to measure progress and ensure effectiveness of intervention.
- Provide physiotherapy input into comprehensive interdisciplinary assessment, treatment and/or discharge.
- Discuss services and treatment options to potential patients, their relatives, or carers.
- Provide support, consultation, and advice on relevant physiotherapy issues to patients and carers.
- Balance evidence-based practice with individual patient needs, to achieve the best outcome for the patient.
- Adapt practice to meet individual patients circumstances, including due regard for cultural, social, and linguistic differences in addition to their cognitive and physical disabilities.
- Demonstrate high level of clinical effectiveness by use of evidence-based practice.
- Contribute to patients care and delivery of service by developing skills beyond ones own professional training.
- Update and maintain accurate patient case notes or reports.
- Stay up to date with latest physiotherapy technologies and techniques
- Comply with government physiotherapy regulations.
- Work as a lone practitioner, manage the physio clinic diary and bookings incoming from CIPHER's website.
- Liaise with Insurance providers, as needed.
