Job summary
We are looking for a Digital Transformation Director to join our wider senior leadership team, reporting to the Chief Executive and lead the development and implementation of our digital strategy, ensuring that we leverage the latest technologies and innovations to enhance our services and operations.

This role will be to support the organisation with the development, implementation and management of the organisations digital transformation; aligning to our goals, values and priorities.
About us
Primary Eyecare is an established provider of high-quality extended eye care services (those beyond sight testing) working through a large network of optical practice subcontractors across England (~2350). PES currently holds and manages contracts on behalf of the primary eye care network, spanning more than 28 integrated care systems and delivering over 580,000 episodes of patient care each year with a total annual turnover of ~£30+million.
Primary Eyecare is a CQC regulated provider, working as a provider collaborative/lead provider for primary and community eye care services. Services are largely delivered via local optometry practices with direct delivery by PES of integrated care solutions such as triage and telemedicine.
Primary Eyecare is a not-for-profit company, limited by guarantee. The majority of generated revenue is passed directly to frontline optometry practices.

- Setting the vision and direction for our digital transformation, aligning it with our organisational goals, values and priorities and the needs of our services and users.
- Managing our portfolio of digital solutions (clinical and operational) and their providers, ensuring that they meet our current and future needs, deliver value for money, and comply with relevant standards and regulations.
- Leading and overseeing provision of internal and external IT support.
- Leading and developing our data analytics team, enabling them to provide insights and recommendations that support evidence-based decision making and continuous improvement.
- Collaborating with wider optometry sector and NHS partners on digital innovations, solutions and their implementation.
- Fostering a culture of digital innovation and best practice across the organisation, engaging with internal and external stakeholders, and promoting user-centred design and agile delivery methods.
- Overseeing the governance, risk management and performance measurement of our digital initiatives, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget and with quality outcomes.
- Working as a key member of our Senior Leadership Team led by our Chief executive, to achieve our organisational objectives.
- To maintain appropriate confidentiality of information relating to the Company and its staff and maintain compliance with the Data Protection Act.

- Strong knowledge of the contemporary digital landscape, including emerging technologies, trends and opportunities.
- Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management
