To address the healthcare needs of our local population we are hoping to employ a Dietician. Main duties of the job
To provide a varied clinical caseload across the
Network and as a dietitian for our Primary Care Network you will help to
translate the most up-to-date scientific and public health research about
nutrition into practical advice to help patients and carers make
health-conscious decisions about food and lifestyle. This post will include
multidisciplinary working and will deliver high quality clinical leadership and
services, alongside general dietetic work.
About us
Greenwich PCN Alliance Ltd is group of 5 PCNs (Blackheath & Charlton PCN, Eltham PCN, Greenwich West PCN, Heritage PCN and Unity PCN). Our main function is to recruit, embed ARRS roles in General Practice and support with DES functions.
The post holder will be well supported within the PCN as there are physician associates already working within the PCN practices and it is envisaged that there will be a shared supportive network of physician associates and practices with regular meetings to work through the aims of the PCN.
Full and part time opportunities available. Starting salary depending on experience.
A successful candidate will be allocated to one of the five PCN's and will work within this PCN only.

- Minimum 12 18 months working in Nutrition and Dietetics
- Experience of working flexibly and effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Experience of having to prioritise caseload/manage own time effectively
- Sound knowledge and application of up-to-date evidence based clinical trends and practices
Desirable
- Experience of developing, implementing and evaluating projects and audits
- Understanding of current changes within NHS, particularly those affecting Primary Care
- Experience of chronic disease management ie diabetes
- Clinical knowledge and skills
Qualifications
Essential
- BSc or pre-reg MSc in Dietetics under a training programme approved by the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- HCPC Registered
- BDA Post Registration training
- Member of British Dietetic Association
