Welcome to FCMS!

We are seeking a professional and friendly Driver to join our team here, at Doncaster Same Day Health Centre and Urgent Treatment Centre.

Youwill be working within the Same Day Heath Centre/UTC team providing a professional and high-quality driving service for the ECP and GP Out of Hours Service.

The service works on 4 weeks rolling rota. Full training will be given at mutually agreeable times.

Pay: £12.60 per hour. Weekend and overnight enhancements apply.

Hours: 13.5 hours per week on a 4-week rota.

Accountable to: Doncaster Operational Specialist

Base: Same Day Health Centre, Cavendish House, South Parade, Doncaster and the Urgent Treatment centre at Doncaster Hospital

Main duties of the job

As a Driver you will beproviding a professional and high-quality driving service for the ECP and GP Out of Hours Service from the Same Day Health Centre and the Urgent Treatment Centre.

Job description

Job responsibilities

Day to Day Duties to include, but not exhaustive:

To provide a professional and high-quality driving service for the ECP and GP Out of Hours Service

To be able to follow strict procedures and protocols at all times

To work with the clinical team and liaise with our other services to support safe and effective service delivery, ensuring patients receive appropriate care in a timely manner.

When necessary, to be able to complete stocktakes of medical equipment

To complete routine administration checks when working overnight

Ensuring full patient confidentiality at all times

To work individually or as part of a team

To undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post

To be flexible in roles undertaken according to the business need

To be available especially on the overnight shifts but with flexibility to work during the day when required

To handle drug stock and replenish when used.

To undertake vehicle checks

To report any vehicle problems to the appropriate person

To maintain and attend all mandatory training

Other Criteria

A full UK Driving Licence held for a minimum two years

Over twenty-five years of age for driving company vehicles
