Job summary

Welcome to FCMS!

We are looking for someone who will work within our ever-expanding Doncaster team! We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, professional who can work autonomously with a keen eye for accuracy.

Hours: Various contracts available, this is a 24/7 service so flexibility will be required during these hours to fulfil the service

Pay: £11.00 per hour

Main duties of the job

  • To provide a professional and high-quality reception service for the Doncaster Same Day Health Centre and/or the Urgent Treatment Centre/out of hours service.

Job description

Job responsibilities

OVERVIEW OF ROLE/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To greet patients and process information received accurately
  • To be able to gather information received from patients accurately and concisely
  • To be able to assess deterioration of patients in the waiting room
  • Ensuring full patient confidentiality at all times
  • To despatch Emergency Clinical Practitioner jobs to the necessary vehicle/clinician, taking into account location and workload.
  • To work closely with clinicians and establishing priority if needed in busy periods.
  • To complete daily checks whilst on duty, ensuring clinical rooms are tidy and fully stocked
  • To work effectively under pressure in a calm and confident manner
  • To maintain a consistent, quality and professional service
  • To work individually or as part of a team
  • To undertake all relevant training consistent with the requirements of the post
  • To be able to work evenings, weekends, overnights and bank holidays

RELATIONSHIPS

Develop and maintain constructive relationships with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders

To work in collaboration with all services that work in the Urgent Care Health Economy

To recognise the importance of patient experience and value patient feedback.

Closely monitor and continually seek improvement to all areas of patient/customer satisfaction to ensure the highest attainable standards are met at all times.

To have responsibility for Health and Safety and welfare of others in the working environment, to follow safe working practices and to comply at all times with local Safety Policies and Procedures.

This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exemption Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
