Main duties of the job
As a qualified CBT Therapist, you will be at the forefront
of the important work we do, delivering exceptional, evidence-based
interventions to clients at Step 3. You will apply your clinical expertise to
assess and treat your own caseload through their treatment plan, working in
partnership with highly skilled colleagues at Steps 2 and 3 and external
support services.
At all times, you will be supported by a dedicated clinical
leadership team, experienced administration teams and safeguarding specialists,
to provide an effective, high-quality experience for your clients. You will
have the opportunity to engage in extensive CPD to enhance your skills and
support your accreditation going forward.
Successful applicants are expected to work one late clinic per
week (up to 8pm). We offer all clients face-to-face sessions at Step 3 as
standard and our Step 3 clinicians are predominantly site based to support this.
Driven by patient choice and feedback, it is therefore expected that this work
will be face-to-face at one of our fifteen dedicated clinics across Derbyshire.
About us
Trent PTS has been an approved NHS provider of psychological
therapies since 2004. We have a long history of providing treatments for mental
health difficulties including depression, anxiety, loss, grief, trauma and
relationship problems. As a clinically focused service, we encourage clinicians
to determine treatment plans in accordance with best practice and their
training.
As a pioneering service, we are always looking for new ways
to improve the accessibility of mental health support in our communities. We
are big on community outreach, digital innovation and establishing pathways and
partnerships to support the individuals and communities we serve.
Our
continued focus is to provide excellent treatment, ensuring those who require
our help, receive the right treatment at the right time. At Trent PTS, we dont
have an internal wait list meaning that over 80% of clients are seen for their
first session within 6 weeks and commence treatment immediately with the same
therapist for the duration of treatment.
We are an equal opportunities employer and positively
encourage applications from suitably qualified and eligible candidates,
regardless of sex, race, disability, age, religion/belief or marital status.
As a Disability Confident Employer, we encourage you to
share any accessibility requirements you may have with us, so that we can
