To
be the first point of contact for the Practice Managers and commissioners
regarding PCN operations.
To
manage services and projects accordingly, clarifying objectives and priorities
for network delivery in line with operational capacity.
To
provide line management to PCN employed staff, to ensure that they are embedded
in the PCN
Assist in the
co-ordination of the PCN meetings, including the PCN board meetings, locality
meetings, development meetings etc.
Main duties of the job
Be the first point of contact for Practice Manager and

To provide line management to PCN employed staff.
Assist in the co-ordination of the PCN meetings, including the PCN board meetings, locality
meetings, development meetings etc.
Support the PCN and its member practices in implementing
project.
Support with daily operations, staff escalations and PM
Meetings
Support with the management of Enhanced Access and all
related activities.
Implement, monitor and report on PCN contracts.
Support in planning , creating and disseminating all PCN
communications through internal and external channel.
Support in investigating PCN related complaints and
assist in investigations.
Support the recruitment processes for new PCN staff,
from interview to induction plans, investigations.
Conduct appraisals and performance management of PCN
staff
Provide performance data for a range of PCN activities
as required
Use Excel spreadsheets to display and input performance
data
Personal and Professional Development
Keep abreast of national and local guidance on PCNs
Take responsibility for own development, learning and
performance
Participate in an annual individual performance review,
and take responsibility for maintaining a record of own personal and

About us
Salus
is a GP Federation which was formed by the local GP practices within North East
Hampshire and Farnham. This Includes
practices located in Aldershot, Farnborough, Fleet, Farnham & Yateley. We hold several contracts supporting primary
care to deliver services on behalf of those practices, helping them work better
together and with other healthcare providers leading to improved patient
services and developing new ones due to constant changes in the Primary Care
environment.
We
also assist practices with admin, operational and HR support and facilitate
shared learning across localities. By
engaging with the public, we also help ensure that services are designed and
developed with patient and public involvement.

responsibilities of the PCN Ops Manager. There may be, on occasion, a
requirement to carry out other tasks; this will be dependent upon factors such
as workload and staffing levels.
