Job summary
The Assistant Operations Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of our Urgent Care Bases and play a pivotal role in overseeing Medicines Management practices, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, and working closely with the clinical leadership team. This role supports the Operations Manager to ensure the smooth running of our Bases and our Urgent Care Assistant Team to deliver high quality services to our patients.
In addition, the Assistant Operations Manager will work closely with our Medicines Management Lead to ensure that the bases are stocked appropriately, and processes and procedures are adhered to by the team
Main duties of the job
Day to day, your duties will also include but not be limited to:
- Leading the Urgent Care operational teams (non-clinical) providing support, mentoring and feedback.
- Delivering on innovative ways of working and working as flexibly as the service requires, improving the quality of clinical standards through operational support and service delivery.
- Leading the Urgent Care operational teams (non-clinical), providing support, mentoring, and feedback.
- Working with the Clinical Leadership Team to develop and implement new policies or guidelines for effective resource use.
- Improve medicine management processes, to include working as an active member of the Medicines Management and Infection Prevention and Control committees.
