3VHealthcare Ltd have been commissioned by the NHS since 2008 and have
recently been graded as 'Good' with areas of outstanding by the CQC.
We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant
to join our busy and friendly team based in Chapel-en-le-Frith to provide support to
outpatient clinics within Derbyshire and Cheshire.
The post holder will work closely with the Service Managers, Clinicians
and other administration staff to ensure our patients experience a safe and
smooth pathway through the service.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will work within the organisation providing high quality
clinical and administration support across all aspects of the business. They
will be responsible for a range of duties from Phlebotomy and clinician support
to arranging appointments and stock control. The post holder will work closely
with the service managers and clinicians to ensure patients experience a safe
and smooth pathway through the service.
The post holder will also be required to contribute to the improvement
and development of the service.

Ltd has been delivering high quality patient care commissioned by NHS England
since 2008. Our services include the
provision of clinician led outpatients, minor surgical and diagnostic
procedures for NHS patients in Derbyshire and the surrounding areas. The
organisation was created by local GP Practices with the aim to provide
excellent, local care in a wide range of specialities.
3VHealthcare Ltd has a
multi-level organisational structure. The organisation is led by 3 Executive
Directors, an Operations Manager and a Business and Information Manager.
The services are led by
16 clinicians, 3 service managers and a pharmacist.
Healthcare and
administrative support is provided by 6 team members working a combination
of full and part time hours.

- Work alongside colleagues to ensure a high standard of care is provided for patients ensuring accurate & timely communication within his/her clinical capabilities & seek further advice when required
- Adhere to all rules & regulations regarding to health & safety
- Undertake regular competency assessments & role specific training
- Assist with all aspects of office duties i.e. answerphones, registration of patients, process referrals via the NHS e-referral service, book & cancel appointments, input data& associated administration tasks, upload dictations to allocated typing services, upload documents to the patient records, stock control, onward referrals
- Understand the roles & responsibilities of all team members to ensure appropriate, effective and timely communication
- Adhere to Data Protection Policies at all times
