NHS Band 3 Healthcare Assistant (ENT)
Salary: £26,100 £27,600 after probation
Location: Bedford, Luton and Milton Keyenes
Fulltime 40 hours per week (including travel time)
Main duties of the job
About the role -
We are seeking dedicated Band 3 Healthcare Assistants to support our Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) community clinics across Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes.
You will work as part of a multidisciplinary clinical team, supporting ENT consultants and specialist nurses in delivering high quality patient assessments and procedures within community settings.
This role is ideal for HCAs with strong patient facing experience who want to build skills in ENT and progress clinically within community healthcare.

What you will do -
- Prepare clinic rooms and equipment for ENT examinations
- Act as chaperone during consultations and minor procedures
- Support patients throughout their clinic visit
- Undertake administrative duties, including updating patient outcomes and supporting clinic workflow
- Ensure stock levels and clinical supplies are maintained
- Travel across multiple clinic sites within Bedford, Luton and Milton Keynes
Service operates 7 days per week you will work 5 out of 7 days, typically between 07:00/07:30 17:30/18:00.
Requirements -
- Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle (essential)
- Experience as a Healthcare Assistant or Support Worker (NHS or private)
- Confident working in fastpaced clinical settings
- Strong communication and patientcare skills
- IT proficient
- Willing to travel across multiple clinic sites
You will complete a structured 2week induction and ENT focused training programme.
