Main duties of the job

We are currently seeking an experienced Adult Audiologist to support our community service in Manchester and Kent. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a highly regarded independent healthcare provider delivering specialist audiology clinics in partnership with NHS trusts.

  • Supporting the diagnosis and early intervention of hearing impairments in adults.
  • Providing family-centred care and contributing to multi-disciplinary pathways.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely clinical documentation using EMIS and/or NHS systems.

  • HCPC Registration
  • AHCS (Academy for Healthcare Science) registration

Knowledge and Skills

Essential

  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently within a community-based service.

Experience

  • Previous experience in an audiology setting working with patients aged 18 and older
  • Experience working in an IQIPS-accredited department

Desirable

  • NHS Band 6 level or above, or equivalent experience in an independent setting
