Job summary

We are seeking a qualified and patient-focused Optometrist to join our community-based healthcare team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality eye care services, including vision assessments, eye health checks, and referrals for specialist treatment when necessary.

Main duties of the job

  • Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
  • Diagnose and manage common eye conditions (e.g. glaucoma, cataracts, dry eye)
  • Prescribe corrective lenses and provide advice on visual aids
  • Refer patients to ophthalmologists or other specialists when needed
  • Maintain accurate patient records using electronic systems
  • Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and treatment options
