Main duties of the job
As an Audiology Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering diagnostic audiology services to NHS patients referred by local GPs. Your primary duties include conducting comprehensive hearing assessments, interpreting results, and providing clear and compassionate explanations to patients regarding their hearing health. You will work closely with the ENT team to determine effective treatment plans, refer patients when needed, and support their self-management. Additionally, maintaining accurate records and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care are essential aspects of this role.
