Job summary
The core purpose of this role is to offer leadership, direction and operational management to the Integrated Urgent Care service during the course of an operational shift.
To ensure that the shift is able to deliver high standards of patient care in line with the key performance indicators.
Resources (clinical, operational, facilities and mobile) are utilised to the best effect throughout the shift.
We have specific shift patterns available within the evening shift manager role, with the additional requirement of including weekend Out of hours shifts as a Workforce and Capacity Co-Ordinator
At all times the post holder must act in a manner consistent with the code of conduct and appearance representing BrisDoc and the NHS
Main duties of the job
Operational Leadership and Management
To oversee, co-ordinate and take responsibility for the operational management of shifts across the Bristol, North Somerset and South Gloucestershire service, working in partnership with the on-call Manager where appropriate.
