The core purpose of this role is to ensure the smooth running of the NHS Talking Therapies service, through the provision of effective and efficient data analysis and management, directly supporting the service to use our patient management system and using data to positively impact service delivery.

We are offering a remote role to support one of our talking therapies services, working as part of a friendly talking therapies data team.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • To work closely with Service Lead and Talking Therapies Data team to ensure the information they receive is appropriate and meaningful to effectively manage their service
  • Support the Service Director in providing accurate and proactive data to effectively manage Talking Therapies Services
  • To strategically inform the use of data and systems across the contract to maximise the operational efficiencies and effectiveness of the service
  • To monitor service activity and utilisation and produce necessary Dashboards based on KPIs for use by internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensuring high levels of data compliance through the use of cleansing reports and other tools to improve quality
  • Supporting the clinical team to use the patient management system effectively. Training new staff and responding to day to day queries

The candidate:

The ideal candidate will have strong skills in data management, excel and communication with a real drive to use information to positively impact service delivery. It will be important to be able to work effectively with data analyst colleagues, service leads and practitioners to ensure accurate and timely recording and reporting of data. Ability to prioritise work whilst maintaining a high standard of data quality will be imperative.

Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • English and Maths GCSE grades A-C or equivalent
  • Experience in a similar operations/analytical role
  • Managing large sets of data within a case management system
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong reporting/analytical skills
  • Diligence and attention to detail
  • Ability to train users and offer software support
  • Leadership, influencing and negotiation skills
  • Manage multiple workstreams in a pressurised environment
  • Highly self-motivated and driven
  • Ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders
  • Commitment to own personal development
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Knowledge of Power BI
