Job summary

Vita Health Group is looking for a Talking Therapies High Intensity (Step 3) Service Manager to support the delivery of our service. The Service Manager contributes to the delivery of effective operational management and leadership within the NHS Kent and Medway Talking Therapies service. This is a great opportunity for a Line Manager to progress their career within the NHS Talking Therapies Service and training will be given as required.

The Service Manager will work closely alongside the Senior Management Team to ensure that a high quality, Talking Therapies compliant stepped care service is delivered. You will support the service to exceed national standards of delivery and achieve optimum levels of clinical performance.

The Role:

Vita Health Group is looking for a Talking Therapies High Intensity (Step 3) Service Manager to support the delivery of our service. The Service Manager contributes to the delivery of effective operational management and leadership within the NHS Kent and Medway Talking Therapies service. This is a great opportunity for a Line Manager to progress their career within the NHS Talking Therapies Service and training will be given as required.

  • The Service Manager will work closely alongside the Senior Management Team to ensure that a high quality, Talking Therapies compliant stepped care service is delivered. You will support the service to exceed national standards of delivery and achieve optimum levels of clinical performance.
  • The Service Manager will line manage other operational managers within the service and will act as an appropriate point of escalation.
  • The role will be a mix ofremote and office-based working. Candidates must be willing to travel to the Kent and Medway locality.
Skills and Experience:

Essential:

  • Undertaking Clinical Audit, including action planning
  • Experience of effectively managing a team
  • Experience & knowledge of working in NHS Talking Therapies
  • Experience of being part of making strategic decisions for service provision & leading change
  • An awareness of and commitment to supporting and facilitating diversity and inclusion
  • Willingness to travel, which may include overnight stays on occasion, as and when required
Desirable:
  • Leadership & management qualification (CMI/ILM or other recognised body)
  • Talking Therapies recognised therapeutic qualification
  • Supervisor training
  • Experience of leading a team where there are changing priorities of needs
  • Use of IAPTUS system
