We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our newly incorporated North Central London General Practice Provider Collaborative, building on three years of successful collaboration as an Alliance across North Central London (NCL).
This pivotal role, will provide strategic and operational leadership, working closely with the Chair/s and Board of Directors to develop our strategic vision and goals, building a mature and sustainable organisation across General Practice in NCL.
You will establish an organisation that operates as a system leader, with a strong reputation for collaboration and innovation and that supports all of General Practice to work together to provide better care for our population.
You will have a track record of operating at Board level in a complex organisation, a strategic understanding of the health and care system and bring passion, creativity and values-based leadership to the role inspiring others, building trust and acting as a visible and respected leader in the system.
This role is flexible with some home and office working. The GPPC's office location is still to be confirmed but will be at a Primary Care site in North Central London.
Main duties of the job
The Chief Executive is a member of the Board of Directors oversees
the overall direction of the GPPC. They are the accountable officer,
responsible for developing and delivering strategies that ensure we deliver our
vision and aims.
As this is a new organisation the Chief Executive will play
a key role in clarifying our vision and goals. This role will ensure that the
GPPC is well positioned to embrace the challenges of operating in the
constantly changing healthcare environment and ready to respond rapidly and
flexibly to new business opportunities.
The CEO is accountable for ensuring the organisation
consistently engages with its members (Federations, PCNs, practices) and works
collaboratively together to deliver a range of high-quality services. You will
maintain strong relationships with our members and with senior system partners.
You will be a strong and influential voice for General Practice in our
Integrated Care System.
About us
NCL General Practice Provider Collaborative (GPPC) is a
newly formed Community Interest Company (CIC), and the successor of our
successful General Practice Provider Alliance.
The Alliance formed in 2022 so that General Practice (Federations, PCNs
and Practice) could more effectively collaborate and interact at system level.
Board Directors represent our local borough-based Federations, PCNs and
Practices and come together to strategically lead system level work.
As an incorporated GPPC are ready to help deliver the
ambitions of the NHS 10 Year Plan and to partner with providers and
commissioners across our system innovating and delivering new ways of working
that best meet the needs of our population. We are a proactive, positive and
engaged system partner that provides thoughtful, innovative and patient focused
insights and leads in new integrated ways of working.
We will lead system level services and coordinate neighbourhood
delivery where it is best to do so. We will work together within General
Practice to continue to provide consistently high quality across Primary Care,
addressing unwarranted variation, sharing best practices and providing support
and quality improvement where needed.
