Job Title: Director of Operations (Primary Care)

Hours of work: Fulltime (37.5 hours per week)

Remuneration: £74-80k pa dependent on experience

(inclusive of on-call payment for 1 in 3 weekends and Bank Holidays)

Contract length: Permanent

Accountable to: Chief Executive Officer

Responsible to: Chief Operating Officer

Location: Haringey GP Federation offices, 48 Station Road, N22 7TY Any other location within the London Borough of Haringey

Main duties of the job

The postholder will play a key role in the delivery of high-quality clinical services and will co-ordinate the effective day to day management across our teams focused on high quality sustainable general practice. This role requires an individual who is driven, ambitious and passionate about patient care. They will be able to influence at the highest levels whilst being ready to get involved and support delivery at all levels.

The Director of Operations (Primary Care) will be a member of the Federations Executive and Strategy Team working together to ensure the organisations strategic goals are met. They will work closely with the Director of Operations (Integrated Care) under the leadership of the COO.

At Scale services, ensuring, in collaboration with our PCNs, they are responsive to system urgent and emergency care pressures

GP practices we directly manage and caretake & high-quality Member Services made available to all practices in Haringey

Digital and analytics team, ensuring the organsiation is well placed to make the best of digital transformation within Primary Care

We provide a range of services in Haringey, including those which are best delivered by Primary Care at scale, namely; integrated services, working with partners in our local borough partnership, together with support services, including back-office support, workforce and training and some shared staffing clinical teams. We also currently manage two local GP practices and lead the North Central London Training hub.
