Working as part of a multidisciplinary team
you will be trusted to make complex clinical decisions, manage undifferentiated
presentations, and influence how services are designed and delivered across the
system. ACPs at Taurus are not peripheral to service delivery they are central
to shaping modern general practice, clinical flow and continuity of care.

Main duties of the job
The
Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) is a senior autonomous clinician who
delivers high-quality, evidence-based care across Taurus Healthcares integrated
primary care and urgent care services, supporting the organisations vision
of accessible, 24/7 general practice.
The
post holder will assess, diagnose, treat and manage patients with
undifferentiated, acute and complex conditions, while contributing to service
development, clinical leadership, education and quality improvement across the
system.
The
role requires capability and competence across the four pillars of advanced
practice (clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and
research), underpinned by a full masters degree.

1. Clinical Practice
- Practise as an independent and autonomous clinician, managing patients with undifferentiated, acute and chronic conditions across face-to-face, home visiting, remote and digital consultation models
- Undertake comprehensive clinical assessment, diagnosis and management, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning, risk assessment and safety netting
- Initiate, interpret and act on appropriate investigations and referrals in line with local and national pathways
- Prescribe and manage medications safely and effectively in accordance with national guidance, local formularies and EMIS decision-support tools
