Job summary
Join our small but dedicated Digital & IT team at Taurus Healthcare and enjoy the opportunity to develop a broad range of skills across primary care and with wider collaborative partners. This is very much a face-to-face role, providing essential support to colleagues across the organisation and ensuring they can deliver the best possible care. From maintaining Microsoft network infrastructure and clinical systems to leading on business continuity processes, no two days will be the same. As our services operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week 365 per year, we are looking for someone with the flexibility, adaptability and proactive approach needed to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment. Working closely with several key 3rd party support organisations, youll play a key part in keeping vital health services connected, resilient and responsive for patients.
Main duties of the job
- Provide first-line support for hardware and software issues *on-site, remote, and clinical users*.
- Maintain the company asset register and IT equipment stock levels.
- Lead on equipment evaluation, specification, and procurement.
- Manage IT requirements in the staff induction and onboarding/offboarding processes.
- Administer Office 365, NHS portal, SharePoint, Active Directory, and associated applications.
- Oversee access and configuration for corporate and clinical systems *remote and face-to-face*.
- Manage and administer the IP telephony platform and mobile phone estate.
- Provide local administration of network infrastructure *Wi-Fi, HSCN* with third-party suppliers.
- Support and update organisational websites, intranet, and communication platforms.
- Lead on developing and maintaining Digital & IT work schedules and business continuity processes.
- Undertake scheduled security audits, monitoring tasks, and risk incident reporting.
- Administer and support building management systems *CCTV, access control, and related infrastructure*.
- Support projects, IT upgrades, and digital programme delivery across the organisation.
- Ensure accurate documentation, IT procedures, and governance compliance are maintained.
- Provide cover for colleagues during absence to ensure business continuity.
