Main duties of the job

  • Unpack and put away deliveries of pharmaceutical stock.

  • Maintain accurate stock levels and perform regular stock checks.

  • Rotate stock to prevent expiry and ensure proper storage.

  • Keep shelves organized, clean, and well-stocked.

  • Support with inventory management and ordering supplies.

  • Assist in keeping the pharmacy tidy and running smoothly.

  • Help staff with general tasks as needed during busy periods.

Job responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receive, unpack, and store pharmaceutical stock and supplies.

  • Maintain accurate stock records and ensure stock levels are optimized.

  • Conduct regular stock rotation and monitor expiry dates to minimize waste.

  • Assist with inventory audits and stock takes as required.

  • Replenish shelves and ensure all stock is correctly labeled and organized.

  • Liaise with suppliers and delivery personnel regarding incoming stock.

  • Ensure the dispensary and stockroom remain clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations.

  • Support pharmacy staff by preparing packaging and labeling as instructed.

  • Assist with general administrative duties and customer service tasks as needed during peak times.
