Job summary

We are looking for a confident and experienced pharmacist ready to take the lead in a forward-thinking community pharmacy. Main duties of the job

As Pharmacy Manager, you will:

  • Lead, develop, and motivate a well-structured team including ACTs, dispensers, counter staff, apprentices, driver, and trainee pharmacists.

  • Oversee and support an ACT Dispensary Manager and ACT Care Home/Contracts Manager who manage their respective domains independently.

  • Be the Designated Supervisor for pharmacy trainees and oversee staff development.

  • Drive clinical service delivery and innovation across NHS and private services, including PGDs.

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with local GP practices and wider healthcare teams.

  • Manage all aspects of daily pharmacy operations, including compliance, stock control, appointments, and service delivery.

  • Uphold outstanding standards in patient safety, care and customer service.

  • Contribute to strategic planning, digital innovation, and service development.

  • (IP qualification preferred; support available to achieve this if not yet obtained.)

Desirable

  • Independent Prescribing (IP) qualification or working towards it;
