Amethyst
Group, a leading provider of Gamma Knife treatment with over 13 years of
experience and 16 clinics across Europe, is seeking a dedicated and experienced
Centre Manager. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of
our Radiotherapy Department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care
while managing a dynamic team.
Position Summary:
The QSRC (Queen Square Radiosurgery Centre) Centre Manager
is responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Gamma Knife
Radiotherapy Department, ensuring high standards of patient care, and
maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role involves
managing a team of radiographers, ensuring the quality and accuracy of imaging
services and implementing best practices for patient safety and satisfaction.
Service Management:
-Oversee
daily activities to ensure efficient and effective service delivery within
the Radiotherapy Centre.
- Develop
and implement policies and procedures that uphold high standards of
service and patient care.
- Perform
administrative duties integral to service management.
Team Leadership:
Train,
supervise, and mentor a team of radiographers, fostering skill development and
competency.
Conduct
regular performance evaluations and facilitate ongoing training opportunities.
Promote
a collaborative and positive team environment.
You will be a proactive Team Leader overseeing daily activities in
the centre, working closely and reporting directly to the CEO. You will
collaborate with the Director of Quality to ensure compliance and regulatory
alignment.
Quality Assurance:
-Ensure
all imaging procedures are performed in accordance with established
protocols and standard.
- Implement
and monitor quality control measures to ensure the accuracy and safety of
diagnostic images.
- Conduct
regular audits and assessments to identify areas of improvement.
- Oversee
the operation and maintenance of the Stereotactic Gamma Knife, ensuring
all equipment checks are completed for optimal accuracy.
Patient Care:
-Focus on the patient experience
and support the senior team to improve and implement patient experience
measures.
- Address
and resolve any patient complaints or concerns promptly and professionally.
- Promote a
patient-centred approach to care, ensuring comfort and safety during
imaging procedures.
Regulatory
Compliance:
-Ensure
compliance with all relevant regulatory and accreditation standards,
including radiation safety regulations.
- Maintain
accurate and up-to-date records and documentation as required by law and
policy.
- Prepare
for and participate in inspections and audits by regulatory bodies.
Communication
and Collaboration:
-Serve as
the primary liaison between the Radiotherapy Department and other medical
departments.
- Collaboration
with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure
cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
Qualifications
> Education:
-Bachelor's
degree in Radiography, Radiologic Technology, or a related field.
- A
masters degree preferred.
- Certification
and registration - Quality Radiotherapy.
Experience:
Minimum of 5
years, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
Proven track
record in managing a radiology department or centre, including staff management
and quality assurance
