Job summary

University of Bristol Students Health Service is a GP practice for University students and their dependents. We are looking to recruit a Healthcare Assistant to work 21 hours per week as a HCA.

We are a close and friendly primary care practice team that includes GPs, nurses, pharmacists, psychologists and other allied professionals at an award winning university health service. Situated within a purpose built practice in a beautiful setting.

We would encourage a visit to the practice to meet the team prior to application.

Main duties of the job

As a HCA you will support the work of the clinical staff, and have responsibility for a range of clinical and administrative duties, e.g. phlebotomy (taking blood), taking observations, urinalysis, acting as a chaperone for coil clinics, ordering medical supplies, and stocking up clinical rooms.

Student Heath and Inclusion Service provides specialist support and guidance to individual students and related to groups of students. The Student Health Service is a GP practice that provides a full range of NHS services to students, their families and graduates, living locally.
