Job summary
This post will have principal responsibilities to act as a
Clinical Lecturer in Primary Dental Care at Bristol Dental School. The post
holder would be expected to provide teaching and supervision to undergraduate
dental students and student hygienists/therapists, with potential for
involvement with postgraduate teaching. The role will primarily be based in Clinic
C & D, primarily covering Restorative Dentistry and supporting our patient
assessment clinics. The post is available full-time, or part-time (with up to
1.55 FTE available).

The research groups and laboratories are based in Dorothy Hodgkin Building and the Dental School, facilitating close working relationships with clinical researchers and complementary research activity aligned to the Medical School, ensuring a key critical mass and world-leading research quality. - Good written and verbal communication skills
- Broad range of IT skills
- Abilities to provide pastoral support to undergraduate and postgraduate students, including signposting to specialist services where appropriate
- Capable of involvement in day-to-day clinical management in the unit
- Knowledge of when to refer patients to specialist services
- Evidence of personal development training and commitment to learning
