Imperial College London seeks Clinical Associate Professor/Professor in Inflammation to join the Department of Immunology and Inflammation within the Faculty of Medicine. Main duties of the job

  • Appropriate specialist qualification or eligibility for entry within 6 months of the date of the appointment
  • A national/ international reputation and expertise in the field of inflammation or immunology or related area commensurate with the grade
  • An ability to raise significant research funding from a variety of sources, commensurate with your career stage.
  • A proven track record in conducting high quality independent research, as evidenced by high quality publications in peer reviewed journals
  • Experience of supervision of higher degrees (PhD), MD(Res))
  • Experience of supervising medical staff, if relevant
  • Appropriate level of clinical knowledge, if relevant
  • Understanding of clinical risk management, if relevant
  • Experience of developing skills in leading, motivating, developing and managing the performance of colleagues.
  • An effective communicator, conveying ideas and concepts clearly and effectively to a range of audiences through a variety of methods and media.
