Job summary
Imperial College School of Medicine is seeking to appoint a Clinical Teaching Fellow (Digital) to work with the Leadership Team to support the delivery of our digital learning strategy.
Main duties of the job
* To work closely with Head of School of Medicine, Phase 3 Director and Digital Development Lead for Phase 3, Course Leads (e.g. Medicine, Surgery, Pathology, Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics and Imperial College London 3 Gynaecology) and the School of Medicine Digital Learning team to ensure successful delivery of the digital learning course to students.
* To use educational expertise and evidence-based approach to improve the student experience, by supporting the design and delivery of an innovative blended learning course. Specifically, the postholder will be expected to:
* Be familiar with the basic principles of online pedagogy, i.e. appreciate which approaches work online in contrast with classroom delivery.
* Coordinate and participate in the planning, scoping, design, development and delivery of online digital content, including project management responsibilities.
* Contribute to the design, development and delivery of online digital content and mixed reality content, including authoring, sourcing and curating content, and coordinating the contributions of other content authors.
* Be creative, collaborative and adaptable in an agile digital landscape and have a willingness to contribute to innovations such as but not exclusively podcasting, virtual and augmented reality as well as more day-to-day digital learning and platforms.

Registered with the GMC with a licence to practise
Clinical experience to post-foundation year
An informed, critical understanding of the core undergraduate syllabus in MedicineDemonstrable evidence of an interest in and knowledge of medical education theory
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office: in particular PowerPoint for creating presentations and Excel for analysing data.Willingness to learn new digital learning tools and technologies and ability to cascade this knowledge to othersStrong written and oral communication skills, with an ability to negotiate with staff at all levelsAbility to work under pressure and to demonstrate good time management and organisational skills, working with minimal supervisionWillingness to undertake any training necessary for this role, including training in digital systems and applications for supporting teaching, learning and assessment
