Main duties of the job

As the Centre Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre. Alongside the Centre Director, you will monitor projects, budgets and report on progress. For the very first time, there is also a network aligning all six national PSRCs to share expertise and meet the aims of strategic goals in patient safety. The NIHR NWL PSRC is one of three co-leads and will be expected to work with each centre to complete our own contributory activity: sharing learning and dissemination, as well as developing best practice Patient and Public involvement/Engagement and equality, diversity and inclusion resources amongst the centres. This is an exciting role where you will oversee the management function of PSRC, act as first point of contact for internal matters related to resource, contractual, and finance management and with Centre based researchers and theme leads to ensure projects are managed effectively and deliverables and expenditure are on target.
