Job summary

You will be involved in supporting the teaching delivery across our interprofessional portfolio and there may also be opportunities to contribute to the wider health portfolio as appropriate. As such, you will have the opportunity to inspire, enthuse and connect with a range of people from a wide variety of backgrounds.

Main duties of the job

You will be involved primarily in pre-registration education which incorporates interprofessional working and delivery to students across the College in AHP and Nursing.

We are a team of over 30 physiotherapists from diverse clinical backgrounds and specialities delivering education across the pre and post registration programme to over 800 students.

Our education portfolio includes the BSc (Hons) Physiotherapy, BSc Physiotherapy Degree Apprenticeship, BSc Rehabilitation Studies, MSc (Pre-reg) Physiotherapy, Pre-reg MSc Specialist Physiotherapy Practice and MSc Advanced Clinical Practice Musculoskeletal. Integral to our approach in the Department of Allied Health Professions and Life Sciences is contribution to cross-department and college teaching including integrated curriculum provision.

Role Purpose

To teach and support students by taking a learner-centred approach in line with the Universitys Learning, Teaching and Assessment Strategy.

To contribute to interprofessional curriculum development and delivery, research and other forms of scholarly activity as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
