We are looking for an enthusiastic Medical Education Facilitator to join our Integrated Clinical Methods (ICM) team and support the delivery of the graduate-entry MBChB programme at the Three Counties Medical School (TCMS), University of Worcester.

Main duties of the job

In this role, you will facilitate small-group ICM sessions to help students develop consultation and clinical skills, work closely with colleagues to design cases, learning resources, and assessment materials, and play an active role in assessment, including Objective Structured Clinical Examinations (OSCEs). You will also contribute to the ongoing development of the MBChB curriculum.

We are seeking someone with a strong interest in medical education and training, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to support self-directed learners. Ideally, you will have experience teaching medical students or similar, but enthusiasm and a willingness to develop as an educator are key. Flexibility and a collaborative approach are essential to meet the needs of a dynamic curriculum.

About us

TCMS opened in September 2023 with a mission to widen access to medicine and retain graduates in the local region. Our curriculum is built around problem-based learning (PBL), with early patient contact and clinical placements at its core. The ICM team plays a key role in developing students communication and clinical examination skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to join an innovative medical school with a strong social mission. You will have access to professional development opportunities and work within a supportive, forward-thinking team shaping the future of medical education.

This is a part-time role requiring availability on both Tuesdays and Thursdays.
