Main duties of the job
The key duties of the post holder will be to contribute to the teaching and delivery of the Nursing programme, undergraduate and taught postgraduate programmes, including the academic and personal support of students. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the student recruitment and admissioins of the Nursing programme.
NMC registration is an essential requirement for this role along with a first degree. We are particularly interested in candidates with contemporary experience in Nursing.
The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Nursing Education as well as being able to facilitate the maintenance of a range of links between courses and the many Health Care Partners.

- Knowledge and experience in supervising student work and providing appropriate support/feedback
- Possess sufficient breadth and/or depth of specialist knowledge to work within established programmes and to contribute to research in the area of Nursing
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to influence and persuade people at all levels and to exchange complex concepts in a manner appropriate to the audience

- Registration with a relevant regulatory body e.g. NMC

- A relevant teaching qualification and/or fellowship status of the Higher Education Academy (HEA), or a willingness to obtain fellowship membership of the HEA within a specified time frame
