Main duties of the job

The NHP Finance Directorate supports and enables the delivery ofNHP's strategic objectives by ensuring thatNHP's finances are managed appropriatelyin the short, medium and long-term,ensuring there are robust controls in placeto manage risk, proactive stakeholderengagement andeffective financialmanagement (including ownership ofworkstream budgets and agreeing capitalenvelopes). The NHP Finance Strategy & Operations team is a supportive and well established team looking for a high performing, adaptable finance professional who thrives in a fast paced environment and can establish themselves quickly.

The postholder will be working closely with the Finance Business Partnering team and other workstreams within the programme across NHS England and the Department of Health & Social Care

Colleagues with a contractual office base are expected to spend, on average, at least 40% of their time working in-person.
